Sunekos is a non-surgical injectable treatment that can be used on various body parts, such as the face, neck, décolletage, hands, and knees, to give you a smooth, elevated, and younger-looking appearance. The injections contain a combination of hyaluronic acid (HA) and certain amino acids to combat the signs of aging and repair damaged skin. This combination can activate your skin cells (fibroblasts), which naturally increases the production of collagen and elastin (the two most important structural proteins for the skin) to rebuild the dermal layers of the skin. How does the treatment work?
During your consultation, our dermatologist will go over your medical history and examine your skin to determine whether Sunekos treatment is the best option for your cosmetic goals and needs. The doctor may advise you to stop smoking or taking any blood-thinning medications before starting the treatment.
Sunekos requires four sessions (each session takes around 30 minutes) with seven to ten days intervals. You should complete the four sessions to achieve full, long-lasting results and retake the course every six months to preserve and maximize the noticeable outcomes.
The treatment involves using a little needle to inject the combination of HA and amino acids under the skin. This combination stimulates the Extracellular Matrix (ECM) fibroblasts in the skin to urge them to generate a complete mixture of collagen and elastin, which in turn regenerates your skin. As a result, your skin is left looking moisturized and radiant, and the indications of aging are significantly reduced.
SuneKos comes in two varieties: SuneKos 200 and SuneKos 1200. SuneKos 200 is ideal for treating early indications of aging and is used to treat the area around the eyes, face, neck, chest, and hands. If your skin requires additional structural support to reduce sagging skin or if you have deeper wrinkles, SuneKos 1200 is used in conjunction with SuneKos 200.
How long does the result last?
There might be some swelling and bruising at the injection site, as with all injectable treatments, but most patients won’t require any downtime. However, you will need to avoid excessive heat exposure for about seven days.
Following the initial treatment, you may see improvements in the appearance of your skin, but the best results won’t be apparent until all four phases of treatment have been completed. These results usually last for around six months. Some maintenance is typically advised four to seven months after treatment to maintain your desired results.
