How our Eating Disorder department can help you?
Anorexia nervosa, bulimia and binge eating disorder are very severe psychological disorders that have cost many people their physical and mental health – as well as their lives in many cases. They are very difficult to treat as they combine psychological core factors with medical and physiological side effects, and because the behaviors involved are very resistant to treatment and intervention.
We offer outpatient services for these cases following evidence-based interventions and within the context of a multi-disciplinary specialized team. We treat ALL eating disorders, including lesser-known issues such as Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (extreme picky eating, known as ARFID for short) and Bigorexia, also known as muscle dysmorphia, where a person, particularly a male, sees their muscles as underdeveloped.
To treat the problem holistically and to ensure you are getting consistent treatment, our multidisciplinary team will work together to care for you medically and psychologically, and also offer specialist services with the common goals of resolving to the eating disorder and improving the patient’s quality of life.
